Hi all

I just finished a really cute book, and I just know that anyone who likes the TV show The Big Bang Theory will love this book as much as I did.

The main character, Don Tillman,is so much like Sheldon Cooper on that TV show it's remarkable. THE AUTHOR IS FROM Australia, so I don't know if he has even heard of the show, but if a movie were ever to be made from this book I would sure hope Jim Parsons would play the main character.

It has a lot of subtle humor as well as some laugh out loud moments. Here is the NLS information for those of you who use BARD:

I thought it was really enjoyable as well. I was cracking up in the first chapter, between the cleaning and the kids at the presentation etc.

LOL yes, I loved the way he talked about cleaning his bathroom and exactly how much time he allowed for that task. I also loved when he was speaking to that group of kids and their parents, and when a woman raised her hand to ask a question, he called on her by saying something like "that fat lady in the back." No social skills for sure, but I loved the way he was able to change by the end of the book.

Another thing that made me laugh was the way he estimated everyone's body mass index when he met them. I'm sure most sighted people try to estimate age, height, and weight when they meet new people, but BMI? Too funny.
